ANTIQUE ANSONIA *REGENT* MANTLE CLOCK - VERY RARE!! T is NO RESERVE PRICE. Auction is for this Rare Ansonia "Regent" Clock, circa 1886, 8-day gong strike, open escapement, listed in "The Standard Antique Clock Value Guide" as shown above, book by Alex Wescot p127 and valued at $6,500.00. So is a one chance to finally add one to your collection for a fraction of the price. This is a large and heavy elaborate clock, it is an unusual Ansonia as the detail is amazing and you can take it apart in many pieces: Brass panels, colons, finials, top, ornate dial.. etc. Looks like a lot of time was spent by a worker to assemble one. Use BUY IT NOW or give us best offer, we'll take a reasonable offer. It measures 21" H by 9 1/2" W/D. Condition: Exactly as shown, the ornate square piece that goes on top needs welding (see photo) Clock movement was once stressed during shipping and it does not work, it needs to be fixed. Pendulum is missing. But both movement (if it can't be fixed) and pendulum could be found for sale on eBay for as little as $50-$70.
