ANTIQUE ANSONIA SHCOOL HOUSE CLOCK (1920) You are bidding on an old Ansonia shcool house clock made around 1920. This clock was picked up at a local estate auction and is in outstanding condition. This is a 31 day, time only clock made from walnut and it keeps incredible time. This clock measures 25" tall, 17" wide, and 5" deep. This would be considered a short drop regulator. The dial measures 11" in diameter with Arabic numerals. The reverse painting is nearly perfect. The label on the inside is also complete. T is an age crack that runs through the back of the clock but it is very solid. This clock has a nice soothing tick and it has been a pleasure to have it in my work room. I was going to keep this one in my collection as it is easy to read it from a distance. My eyes are dimming as I get older, so this is important. This clock will make a nice addition to anybodys office, kitchen, or back in the shcoolroom. I accept money orders, cashiers check, personal check, and of course PayPal. Items paid for with personal check will be shipped when funds clear the bank which usually takes between 7 to 10 business days. I WILL ONLY SHIP TO A CONFIRMED ADDRESS WITH PAYPAL. I only use U.S. Priority Insured Mail for shipping within the United States. I will try to make shippments outside of the U.S. as economical as possible. Winning bids outside of the U.S. must also Insurance will be required on all clocks. Shipping costs will be calculated based on location of winning bid. A $2.00 handling fee will be applied as packing materials are becoming more expensive. Payment is expected within 7 days of end of auction. IMPORTANT NOTICE: I will do my best to describe the condition of every clock I sell. I enjoy working on old clocks and pick up valuable experience with every one I work on, but I am not an expert. Every clock I sell must run without a problem for a minimum of 30 days before I put it up for auction. Occasionally, I will list a clock that does not run but it will be noted in the description. I will package all my clocks in a manner as I would like to have them received. All packages will be stamped "FRAGILE", sometimes with information to the Postal carrier as to the contents of the package. Once the package is shipped however, I have no control over how it is handled. For this reason, all clocks will be sold AS IS with no refund. These are old clocks, some well over 100 years of age. Sometimes, minor adjustments may be needed to get the clock running. In most cases, it is just a matter of getting the clock level and getting an even "beat." Please ask questions before you place a bid if you are unsure. Good luck and happy bidding.
