Dad has moved in with us and we have lots of extras, duplicates, and just EXTRA STUFF! See my other auctions for more like this!!!! This is an antique apple press that has been handed down from generation to generation, time for it to find a new home. Approx dimensions 12"x13"x26" and 15lbs. Of course the hieght is adjustable with the screw. Dad took very good care of his stuff. Thanks for looking! I hope this helps date the press. It is marked Berarducci Brothers from McKeesport, PA USA but no date that I see Hi Bill & Brian Have no idea. They could have bought it at a farm sale or handed down thru the family. Homer's family helped settle New Glarus as immigrants from Switzerland so it could go back to late 1800's. Ethel's family was from Wales/England so do not know when they came to Wisconsin - they were the Staley family and probably were farmers also. I would think that it was early 1900's and probably not used much from 1950 on.
