U.S. Model 1889 "Snowflake" Campaign Hat. Tan fur felt with snowflake vent holes, two rows of stitching on the outside edge of the brim, brown satin hat ribbon. The brown leather sweatband is marked "REGULATION/ U.S./ ARMY HAT". The brown ribbon is frayed but complete; the hat has moderate insect tracking on either side, but retains a nice shape.
