Marked Italy on the bottom. This rare and unusual piece Sculpture of Moses is a finely and intricately carved ivory piece of art with many fine details, such as the waves, curls in the hair and his long beard, and the garment ribbons. Moses is majestic in appearance. The Original Statue is the Centerpiece of his famous tomb of Pope Julius II, placed in the Church of San Pietro in Vicoli. This rare old piece is in a very good, wonderful condition for it age. show Signs of age including some minor surface wear and dirt, and naturally developed patina of yellowing due to age. The condition is good to very good and is exactly as shown in the photos below. Sold As Is.
