Up for bid is one antique, art deco fighting tiger table or boudoir lamp. Measures 9" wide by 4" deep. Height to top of socket measures 9." Cast spelter with a bronze finish. Depicts two tigers getting ready to brawl. Felt bottom, "Press" socket, brown cord. Un-marked. No shade. Works. Lamp is in excellent working condition. No cracks or chips. Very little finish wear. Cord is an older replacement, as is the felt bottom. I believe that the socket may be an older replacement but am not entirely certain. The "on/off" is nice and crisp and the brass has a nice patina. If this lamp is marked, it may be on the inside, under the felt. The color is perfect, being a deep, rich bronze/brown tone and the casting detail is superb. Many of the spelter lamps are thinly cast and kind of cheap-this is not one of these lamps. It is a well made lamp that has a bit of heft With the right shade, this lamp would be hard to improve upon. PLEASE READ TERMS BELOW BEFORE BIDDING: If paying with Pay-pal, payment within five days.
