ANTIQUE ART DECO (1923) 15CT GOLD & AQUAMARINE BAR BROOCH Beautiful Antique Art Deco Era (1923) 15ct Gold and Aquamarine Bar Brooch, in Very Good Condition This beautiful antique bar brooch dates from 1923 and is made of fully hallmarked 15ct yellow gold. The brooch is set with three vibrant and sparkly genuine aquamarines in a gorgeous, quite deep, shade. The pin itself is made of hallmarked 9ct yellow gold. A loop is fitted to the underside of the brooch so that a safety chain can be fitted, if desired. Please note that the photos have been enlarged to show detail, actual measurements are given below. Weight Approximately 3.4 grammes Dimensions The brooch measures approximately 6cms in length and has a maximum height (in the centre) of approximately 8.5mm Hallmarks The side of the brooch is stamped '15' and '.625' for 15ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Chester in 1923. There is also a maker's mark of 'F.B'. The pin itself is stamped '9CT' for 9ct gold Gems 3 x genuine circular aquamarines Condition This brooch is 89 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of any age / general wear to the gold.
