I acquired these magnificent vases and were told they were Kutani however a person who purports to know a lot about these things informed me he believes they are actually Chinese and no later than Art Nouveau. The vases are 31 cm tall. The widest width is just under 16cm. The tubelining is really quite magnificent as I have tried to show in the photos, using lush and opulent colours and gold. The base has blue and red enamel detailing whereas the top is light blue and black. It is a feast of design. Look at the dragon handles. All executed by hand of course. By the way, they are not actually crooked, it is that funny little photo studio thing that is on a slight slant I can supply more photos if you want them, but alas I am not an expert on these things other than to say they were valued at around £120 I will post them collectplus if you are in their delivery area otherwise parcelforce 48 Thanks for looking
