This is a beautiful Antique ART DECO Sterling Silver Locket pendant hung on a Sterlins Silver Chain. The front of this locket is detailed in a linear striped pattern engraved into the sterling, and t is a triangle cartouche on the front ---possibly for a monogram...-but t is NO monogram on this locket, and no removal of a mono! The back of this locket is plain. The chain that this item hangs on measures about 29 3/4" long! --a Wonderful LONG Length to wear this locket on ! The chain is detailed with long rectangular links that have a slight twist to them...--adding so much interest to this chain. The chain, though not marked, tests for Sterling silver as well. The locket is hinged on the bottom...this locket opens and closes well. Inside are two bezels, and the locket is signed STERLING on one bezel, and on the other side of the locket, the locket itself is signed STERLING....the makers mark of S&S is also found on the inside of this locket...see images... This locket is in Very good vintage condition...please enlarge images to get a closer look at its condition... T are some scratches on the silver, and the tab that you push to open the locket shows a small dimple on it..see images... The locket shows no other dents/dings etc....--- I would have to categorize this item to be in very good vintage condition.
