Exquisite antique 1930's Art Deco Sterling Silver necklace and bracelet set prong set with large genuine Carnelian cabochons and pave set with sparkling marcasites. This lovely old set is signed by its maker, The Nov-E-Line Jewelry Co. who operated in Broadway, NYC in 1934 making very fine Art Deco pieces of jewelry. Necklace measures 18" long and each of its large carnelian cabochons measures approximately 20mm X 15mm for its big center stone and 16mm X 11mm for the 2 flanking stones. The bracelet's 3 carnelian cabochons each measure about 16mm X 11mm. The very high Art Deco motif contains all its original hand cut marcasites. The bracelet's locking slot clasp is stamped with its maker's mark and the necklace's clasp is stamped STERLING. The necklace's intricate Sterling link chain is not even made anymore. It's very delicate and lovely. Patina on bracelet is slightly darker than patina on necklace which probably means that the bracelet was worn more than the necklace. All the wonderful carnelian gems are perfect with no chips, cracks or wear. Very shiny and smooth with a beautiful domed top. Both necklace and bracelet are in excellent all original condition. Very rare to find an antique Art Deco matching necklace and bracelet that has survived together as a set for all these years. If you have any questions, please feel free to read more
