About six years ago I purchased from the 85 year old granddaughter of a Country store which closed in the 1920s the remains of the stock that was still with the family. Among the items which had been played with by the children in the 1930s was a box of antique Talcum Powder Tins. This is one and the others will be listed."VIOLET OF THE NILE" Talcum Powder made around 1920s by Palmolive. Size is 6 inches by 2.25 inches and 1.375 inches deep. It is full and the lithograph of Lady picking flowers from a Tree appears on both sides. Difficult to date no Company or contents information on the Tin. No mention of Food & Drug Act of 1906.Shipping $5.00, Paypal accepted
