This is a gorgeous set of three (count 'em, three!) deco, bronzed double-candle wall sconces dating from the 1920s. Done in the French revival style that was all the rage back then, these sconces have shield style back plates, and sport beautiful coat of arms between the candles. Incredible fretwork throughout, with enchanting pendants dangling from the bottom of each candle. I used these decoratively in the living room of my circa 1940 English revival home, hanging one on each side of the fireplace over the mantle, with the third at the base of the staircase. They would need rewiring before they could be used for lighting. I have shown them without bulbs, with flame bulbs, and with the half shades, which is how I displayed them in my home (shades are not included). This set is perfect for someone wanting to restore an historic home, or anyone who wants to add a bit of vintage glamour and charm to their home. I have not done a deep cleaning on them as I didn't want to erase the gorgeous patina. Hard to find three matching sconces and in this condition -- don't let them get away! Dimensions are 12"H x 10.25"W x 4"D.
