From the turn of the century 1890-1910 comes this sublime and classic solid white and yellow Gold solitaire. The crown jewel of this ring is an almost flawless oval six prong set Aegean Sea color blue/green Aquamarine. It's faceting really shows off the sparkle and fire of this almost 2 carat stone. Legend has it all Aquamarines come from Mermaid's treasure chests and are said to protect against dangers at sea. It is also the March Birthstone. T is unmatched handworked details that set this ring out from the crowd (see closeups). Gently sweeping lines in Gold accent the stone almost floats above the setting. Expert and delicate floral cutwork flank the shank and shoulders lending a very romantic flavor to this one-of-a-kind ring. Ring size is an easily resizeable 6. Weight of ring is 2.4 grams. Aquamarine is approx 2 carats. RIng rides above finger approx. 5/16 inch. Aquamarine stone can easily be replaced with Diamond or other stone. PayPal only please . Free Priority insured USPS shipping to lower 48 States in black velvet presentation box. Please use shipping calculator for other destinations. Money back guarantee only if item misrepresented. Read my Feedback! This is a no reserve auction . This is a very romantic one-of-a-kind antique ring that will grace the finger of the truly loved and sophisticated. It is destined to be a keepsake for generations to come . Bid on it Now! Please see question concerning color of gold. To the naked eye, the ring appears to be all white Gold. On closer inspection with loupe, the four floral motifs at the base just below stone have a slight yellow tinge to the Gold. I believe it shows the same thing on the close-up photo. I only discovered this yellow tinge when editing close-up photos. It may be the lighting or the patina that reflects this. It is, however, all 14k Gold.
