FINE THINGS STORE AN EXQUISITE DESTINATION W YOU'LL DISCOVER FINE ANTIQUES, FURNISHING&DECORATIVE ART Antique Art Nouveau Barbour Silver Brides Basket c1870's This Fabulous Rare Antique Art Nouveau silver-plate basket was made by the Famous Barbour Silver Plate Co in Hartford Conn. 1800's. It is hallmarked "BARBOUR SILVER CO. SILVER QUADRUPLE " Barbour Silver Company - Located in Hartford, Connecticut. One of the original companies to join together and become part of The International Silver Company in 1898. This basket has an old hallmark. This gorgeous basket has very ornate bow like handle, beautiful embossed flyovers on the base combined with the cutout leaves and vines. Magnificent figural flower shaped bowl is Victorian mold blown glass , milk glass core with cranberry shaded interior. This piece is large 12" and 11" across. The Gorgeous basket has been gently used for over the century and is in Excellent condition with no monogram or removal, no dings or dents, very little ware , has no repair of any kind. The glass bowl is in near mint condition with out hair lines, cracks or reaper. Do not miss this finest example of American classic silver. I am happy to combine items for shipping.
