ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU PICTURE FRAME APPROX MEASUREMENTS 11 1/2"H by 7 3/4"W inside frame 8" by 6 1/4"W weight 2lbs 8.6oz impress marked on back #360 This fabulous Nouveau picture frame came from a charming family estate auction held in the Midwest. The children in the photo is the owner and her cousin when they were children. Condition is excellent. Bronzed patina is superb. Wonderful flowers and sinuous lines surrounding the frame with classic Nouveau female face in relief at the bottom. It was sold as solid bronze, but I think it is brass.The mounts on the back are intact and all original. No loss to the feet and t are no cracks, chips, or scratches to the front that I can detect. If you are a collector of all things Nouveau or looking for an exceptional frame or mirror to add to your decor, this would make a fantastic piece for display.
