Highly collectable Art Nouveau copper matchbox case secured by a brass fixing into a traybase with etched side pattern for striking vestas - the case bearing a stylised leaf pattern within an escutcheon. The two parts may be detached for cleaning purposes. The unit base is 5 inches in diameter by four inches high (approx 12.75 centimetres by approx 10.2 centimetres). Kindly note that this item is an antique and not a reproduction and as such has been in the possession of more than one owner.
