Here is a stunning antique Art Nouveau Period Hand Mirror with high quality Porcelain insert with beautiful Art Nouveau Woman holding a large Vase with Chrysanthemums. Has old origianl patina, frame is only marked Silver so it may be German silver with worn gold wash. Porcelain insert unsigned but may be French or German. Hand Mirror is 9 1/2 in. long x 5 1/4 in. wide, has it's original beveled mirror and mirror is excellent. The frame is excellent and has no monograms. The porcelain insert is excellent with no chips, no cracks and no scratches. The only thing to note is on the porcelain plaque has very ornate heavy gold enamel that goes around dark green border & it has a couple of tiny spots where the gold enamel has flaked off, see photo. Over all condition is excellent and all original condition. Wonderful and rare Art Nouveau hand mirror.
