About me: I have been a member on Ebay for about a year now and I've been buying many different types of antiques on Ebay, private auctions, and estate sales. I am now in the process of opening up an antique furniture and decorative arts store and I overstocked a little so now I am selling some very beautiful and extremely rare antiques and items on Ebay. As you can see, I have 100% positive feedback ratings. You can bid with confidence because we guarantee 100% authenticity.
The Item: we present to you a Antique Art Nouveau French Silver Plated Steel Inkwell of a Horseman with Horse Eventing. Eventing is an equestrian event which comprises dressage , cross-country and show-jumping . This event has its roots as a comprehensive cavalry test requiring mastery of several types of riding. It has two main formats, the one day event (ODE) and the three day event (3DE). It has previously been known as Militaire, Horse Trials, and Combined Training. An event horse must be very rideable to succeed, as a horse that will not listen to a rider on the cross-country phase may end up taking a fall at a jump. This is a very nice art nouveau inkwell of a jumping horseman, the well is in a very good complete condition. It is made of Silver Plated Iron and measures 7 1/3" Wide, 4 1/4" deep and 4" in Height . The origin of this piece is French ! This inkwell is very Unique and I haven't seen anything like it ! Do not miss this wonderful chance !Item Condition: We inspect all items and include a full description of what we observe. We Further research the Authenticity of all Items before listing.
