Delightful size. Delightful colors and floral motif. 8 1/2" (22 cm) wide and 5 1/2" (14 cm) to the top of lid. No chips, cracks, repairs to the boat. Limited gold wear on the handles and around the top edge. The lid has a two inch hairline on the inside, not visible from the top. Very stylized loop and foliate side handles and lid handle. Detailed hand painted design with generous gold highlights. Very clean. Ashworth Ironstone impression on the bottom of the boat as well as a number, B 1833.
Please see the companion piece concurrently listed. It is in perfect condition. From the estate of a very nice doctor and his wife from Garden City, Long Island, NY who retired to a beautiful waterfront home on eastern Long Island.
