An antique Asian intricately carved ivory card case! This beautiful box does have some damage. The corner of the cover has been cracked and glued together. It was repaired so that it is difficult to see w it was cracked unless viewed closely. Several pictures have been included to show this. The last picture shows how it looks on the outside at the area w it was repaired. That little section and thin crack seems to be the only place w any damage has been done to the outside carving and it is barely noticeable. Also, the inside sheath that would hold calling cards has two thin cracks (see photos) and the flat oval shape has a tiny chip on the right side. The flaws should not interfere with one's appreciation of this wonderful piece. Approximately 4 1/2" x 2 7/8" x 5/8" in size. No international bidders for this item please.
