Recently acquired from an estate, this is one of many unique auctions. This auction is for a fantastic antique oriental Asian knife and or machette. With writing on the blade, I am not sure if its Japanese, Chinese or another Asian country. Clearly marked in its language, overall size is 14 inches long with the blade measruing 6-7/8 x 2. With its original wooden handle, that does show alot of wear from use, the blade itself does have alot of wear and a couple chips on the top, see pics. If anyone knows what this is and what it was used for, I would be most greatful. A really unique piece. This piece came from an estate of a elderly couple whom traveled the world while serving our country. I do have other wonderful Japanese antiques listed at this time as well.
