I have talked to the owner of this doll. She belonged to her great aunt, who would be in her 90's if alive. This doll, and the other two that I have listed all belong to this same woman. She was from Kansas City, Missouri.Please email me if you know, or can add information to the listing.This is an oriental, asian doll, that is made of bisque. Her lips are painted, and her hair is in good shape. The top knot that fits on her head is off, but it can easily be glued back on without any damage. THe head comes off the body and is supported by a stick. I did not know if you were suppose to reglue the stick to the head, or if that is the way it is suppost to be. I have oriental dolls from the 50's and their heads are attached like the other bisque dolls are with hooks and strings. She is 15 inches long with her top knot, and as you can see she is a pretty young girl.She has a red stamp under her kimono that I have pictured for you. T is a doll that looks just like this little girl, it is number 190069999053. THis doll has a face that is in better shape.She has that cute little double chin. The body is bisque, but the top of the arms is cloth, with bisque fore arms, and hands. The legs and feet are bisque. I have never seen a doll like this.
