Antique Old R. Atkinson Fox Landscape Print w Frame As you collectors know, the work of prolific artist Robert Atkinson Fox (1860-1935) continues to become more collectible each year. This is certainly one of the loveliest Fox landscapes you can hope to find! This original early 1900's R. Atkinson Fox print is entitled "After the Storm" & it depicts a wooded scene with a winding dirt lane with puddles of rain water reflecting the golden glow of the softly clouded sky. Along the horizon you can see the pale orange glow of the beginning of dusk. The print is complimented perfectly in it's original 1.5" wide wooden frame, which has a bronzed blue center, and a raised red border next to the art. The lithograph print measures 18.5" wide & 12.5" deep. The art alone measures 15.5" by 9.5". It is signed on the lower right "R. Atkinson Fox" and in small red letters on the left "Edward Gross Co. N.Y. 601". Both the print & frame are in excellent condition. There is some tape on the original brown paper backing covering the back of the frame.
