This is an exceptionally fine example of an antique Baccarat Pink Clematis Buds weight. This weight exhibits six vibrant pink clematis buds with gracefully intertwined vines with leaves. These are so realistly done that you can almost imagine them opening up into full flowers. This weight measures approximately 3-1/8" in diameter and 2-1/8" in height. The weight is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. T is some very minor debris and very minute air bubble inside the weight near the base (trapped inside when the weight was made and not unusual in antique weights), but I felt it should be mentioned. The base is star cut. This weight was probably polished at some time during its life (not while I have owned it), but if it was polished it was done very professionally and is not noticeable to the eye.
