Antique BagpipesDescription: This auction is for a set of antique bagpipes. I purchased them at an estate sale. The note that was enclosed with them stated that they had been used in the Boers War which would date them to the late 1800s - early 1900s. The note also states that they have ivory parts. I have no way of verifying this. They are in an old wooden box. On the top of the box is a brass label that reads, "J W MacLeod. K.C. Mo". At the same sale I purchased a photo of J W MacLeod playing the bagpipes that is dated 1910, this verifies the time frame of the bagpipes. (If you are interested, the picture as well as an 1886 bagpipe songbook are also currently listed, please check my other listings) I know nothing about bagpipes, I do not know if all of the parts are present. I tried to take detailed photos. Please let me know if you have any questions Condition : The best I can tell, is they will need some repair. Again, please view photos and email any questions. The wooden box is in sturdy condition, but shows age, use and wear. Payment Information: Methods of payment accepted are Paypal, checks and money orders. Checks will be held 3-5 days to clear. Shipping Information: Shipping costs will be $20.00 USPS Items will ship the next business day after payment has been rec'd / cleard. Protective and secure packaging. Ship only within the US
