Rare Ballantines Brown Stout Tin Sign "Aged in the Wood one year" The sign measures 13 1/2" long and stands 4 1/4" tall. Is was made by Robertson Dualife Springfield Ohio. (they made many advertising signs for variuos companys such as coca cola etc in the thirtys and fortys.) It is also stamped "Steelock Easel" sign by Barret Binding Co. Chicago Ill. Tin on a cardboard backing and stand. "Pat. Applied for" I googled this and the patent was issued 1936. The sign is lightly scratched but no dents and the back is in great condition.
