* Pacific western region native Indian (forgot name!)

* made for the souvenir market, circa 1930-40

* has some unthreading and missing beads, but am told it is salvagable

* you can stretch the beads closer together - area missing beads runs about 9 inches around

a 18 inch circumference of the basket w it is the greatest

* the basket opening is 4 inches basket height: 3.5 inches tall

* made from sweet grass

* it's very colorful: chartreuse green (transparent), black (opaque), white (transparent), golden (transparent), blue (opaque),

pumpkin orange (opaque), cinnabar (transparent)

* has some dust
