Here I have for sale an amazing Double Bed (without mattress), which we are only selling due to re-location. This bed is a French Walnut Henry II Style bed, it is hand made and has superb detail. The photo's just do not do this bed justice!! It has a solid head board (pic 1) and foot board (pic 2) as well as side panelling (pic 3). All four corers of the bed have matching detail along with the feet. The head board has a centre piece which is circular and detailed as per picture 4. We brought this bed from an Antique dealer in Windsor in 1998, I have the original receipt to prove authenticity. The bed from its history is believed to have gone through the second world war before its import to the UK. This item is listed for collection only from Oxford, if you wish to see the bed (currently dismantled) please email me.
