This is a belt drive metal working lathe and drill press system. This system is in Excellent condition. It was part a shop in my grandfathers basement since the 30s.
Im not sure exactly how old the items are but they are immaculate. My grandfather was a master machinist for K&E and made parts for them at night and on weekends in the basement. The system includes a S.A.Potter NY lathe. Its about 36" long. A Burke Machine Tool Co. Ohio 22 drill press and the entire belt system located in the picture in the ceiling. All items work and are really clean. I would prefer pick up but if someone wants it shipped it would be in multiple boxes total weight over 200 pounds. I probably could not go UPS but maybe. I just dont know. If not it would have to be motor freight from 07410 NJ Buyer pays all costs for shipping plus. 25$ packaging fee. Also some parts may have to be disassembled to be shipped. All the chuck keys are included. I will be putting up all the additional cutting tools, chucks, taps, reamers etc. etc etc. on another auction. (hundreds of parts) I hate to part with such collectible tools but I need to move on and clear out the house. I forgot to mention. T is also a 120VAC motor with the drive pulley included in the auction. I have been asked about Collets for the lathe. I believe I found them. I will include them in the auction. Thank you for advising me of this.
