Rare Antique Original Bentwood Caned Bell Telephone Switchboard Operator Stool!!!!! I am selling two rare matching 19th century Bell Telephone Operator Stools individually...buy one or both! "BELL SYSTEM" stamped under seat Bentwood legs, back, braces, and footrest Wood appears to be birch, which is typical of bentwood Caned seat bottom in very good condition with no breaks or cracks Seat adjustable from 25" to 34" Seat diameter: 16 1/2" Foot rest ring diameter: 18" Top of backrest 16" above seat Weight: 20 lbs. Swivel seat raises on a metal threaded seat post rod Some fairly minor cracks from use over the years (see photos) have been glued and repaired; stool is in good structural condition I have owned the stool for the past 35 years Finish in very good to excellent condition Seat, metal seat support, and legs can be disassembled for shipping NO RESERVE!!! This rare fantastic stool can be used as a DRAFTING STOOL, BAR STOOL, KITCHEN COUNTER STOOL, GAME ROOM/ BILLIARD TABLE STOOL, WORKSHOP STOOL!!! It has a wonderful, flowing shape and design!!!
