You are bidding on an Antique Inlaid Commode Dresser Chest of Drawers. This is a RARE FIND because of its size, age and beauty. It dates back to the earlier part of the 1900s Circa 1930 and was American made. This was labeled and made by Berkey & Gay Furniture who prior to 1950 made some of the HIGHEST quality case goods in the industry. This piece was BEAUTIFULLY made and has beautiful drawers which are all doweled and dovetailed together with brass pull handles that have a beautiful floral decor pattern etched into the brass itself. It sits on spindle carved legs and has a beautiful paint decorated floral inlaid motif at the center. It has a beautiful and exotic naturally figured mahogany wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. The bottom has Ebony paint decorated trim work with fluted columns on each side that have floral Ancathus leaves carved at each side. This piece is an excellent accent piece that can be used in a hallway or foyer, living room, or a study, library, home office, in a bedroom and practically anyw else throughout your house and I PROMISE
