Double your traffic. ANTIQUE BICYCLE Meerschaum Pipe Cased Bone Shaker Bike c1880 Old NR Album Album Album Album Album You are viewing an unusual and collectible antique meerchaum pipe. I would estimate it was made sometime around 1880 and comes with its original red silk lined case. It shows a rider in period costume riding either a bicycle of the "boneshaker" type, or even a motorcycle. There is evidence of an exhaust or at least mechanics on the right side of the bike. It is in used condition with a break or split in the pipe stem which has been bound with thread (please see photos). There is also overall wear on both the pipe and the case with some pieces of leather missing on the case. The pipe is approximately 4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches tall at the tallest point.
