Very pretty small 136 bisque head. THE WIG IS NOT INCLUDED. It is there to show this head can still be made into a very pretty doll. There are no other markings except the size "6 1/2" at the base. According to my books, the 136 number was used by Kley and Hahn, Keramisches, theodore Recknagel, Kestner, and an unknown maker. The quality of this head is extrmely nice so I lean towards K & H or Kestner but I really don't know. IT is It is 5.5" tall and 10" circumference. Sadly the head is cracked. Most obvious is the whole in the forehead in the center. She came to me this way, buried under a wig that the seller did not want to take off. and then refused to take it back or refund money. The pieces were missing. Starting on the right side of the hole there is a crack that runs around the side of the head to just past the ear. A third crack starts in the same place as the second one and runs to the bridge of the nose. There is one that heads south through the right eyebrow, socket, across the far side of the right cheek, almost to the ear. The last facial crack starts at the bottom left of the hole, skirts down and across just above the left eyebrow and ends just above the ear. There is also a 2" crack from the mid rim in back going straight down. I couldn't get a good picture of this one but it clearly is the least of her problems.
