This is an authentic match safe not a repro. This measures 4.5 x 5.5". It has some surface rust on a small area as you can see from the pics. Circa 1840s -1860s. T is a match strike located between the match pockets. The tabs on the back are good, t is no pitting or holes. This item was purchased from a New England Estate. This auction has a fair shipping rate based on weight and a packaging fee. I've been on eBay for 8 years, and have built up a great deal of trust among my customers.
