This is an authentic match safe not a repro.

This measures 4.5 x 5.5". It has some surface rust on a small area as you can see from the pics. Circa 1840s -1860s. T is a match strike located between the match pockets.

The tabs on the back are good, t is no pitting or holes.

This item was purchased from a New England Estate.
