Just in time for Christmas we have a beautiful German bisque baby looking for a new home. His coloring is unusual. I would describe him as black, although bi-racial may be more accurate. His skin is a lovely shade of coffee with cream. His cloth body is much darker brown, as are his celluloid hands. I am not sure of his maker. He resembles an Armand Marseille Dream Baby but his features are slightly different. He is marked Germany 02B on the back of his little neck. He is in very good condition with just one chip on the end of his right thumb. I note no chips, cracks or hairlines to his bisque head. His eyes are fixed. He does have a non-working crier in his tummy. He also comes dressed in a lovely little christening gown that fits very well and may be original. He measures at a petite 8 inches with a head circumference of nearly 7 inches. For an added Christmas surprise this little baby will arrive to your home with his antique teddy bear. The bear is about 4 inches long when stretched out. He is missing one of his metal eyes but I always thought that just added to his charm. He appears to have wire arms and legs so he can be posed with the baby. The two have been together in my collection for many years and I just don't have the heart to separate them. Please .
