Manufacture date is MARCH 1897 as stamped on bottom of clock.The case of this clock has been cleaned, sealed and polished. Bezel and dial has been cleaned of tarnish and sealed with brass laquer and the numbers re-blackened. All ornamentation cleaned and refinished with gold leaf enamel. Case is in excellent shape. Glass is in great shape and is tight. The etching has been cleaned and re-filled with gold filler. It has a rich, deep chime. It chimes the hours at the top of the hour and once on the half-hour on a Seth Thomas Cathedral gong.The Seth Thomas "Hip" movement has been totally cleaned ultrasonically, bushings replaced where needed, mainsprings cleaned and re-lubed and movement oiled with premium clock oil. It runs strong and has a nice tick-tock.Very nice indeed!Comes with pendulum, key for winding and instructions for operation of the clock.Dimensions: 16 1/2" X 11 1/2" X 7" Shipping weight approx 12 poundsI WILL PAY THE INSURANCE!
