Very Pretty ANTIQUE Ironstone Pitcher If it's from a Chamber Set, it would have been the Hot Water size Or it could have been a small milk pitcher MAKER: Can't say for sure, some of the stamped mark in illegible Inside the parallelogram is stamped "OHIO", then what looks to say "WEST & Co", but it's quite blurred. Tho I believe this is an American Made piece, it has the look and feel of Staffordshire. AGE: Later 1800s - 1920's PATTERN: Gorgeous DAHLIAS FEATURES:** Beautiful BLACK TRANSFERWARE FLORAL - Dahlias on both sides! ** HAND PAINTED in shades of Raspberry to pale Pink, Teal Blue, and Olive Green ** GREAT SHAPE with scalloped mouth, embossed throat, more! ** Antique OFF-WHITE Ironstone, that has patina to a lovely light beige , especially around the neck ** Lovely from all angles! ** The GLAZING is shiny and glowing! ** Perfect Display piece! CONDITION: EXCELLENT! NO CHIPS, Overall Crazing lines, overall aged patina One almost invisible Spider Crack on the side, which shows from the inside The Gold trim around the mouth & on handle mostly worn away Wear on the transferware and painting just at the southern tip of the design - leaf wearing.
