is an antique black smith coal forge from a long time back. Beautiful curved spoke flywheel. These are commonly referred to as Rivet or Ratchet type forges. Directional ratchet dogs in flywheel work properly. Unit spins freely. Will need a length of flat belt and a new wooden handle to be functional. One repair in a non-heat area (next to w the handle pivots). This was probably repaired decades ago and should cause no problems. Basin is about 21" in diameter. Basin is constructed of good thick cast. Blower rotates nicely. One leg has a bend in it that I do not think should be t The legs are steel and a vise will quickly cure that problem. Just a good old forge. This is not a new, made in China unit. It will have small flaws or t It is probably 80-90 plus years old and should last many more decades. I will need to disassemble the forge to ship. I will no doubt cut bolts off as opposed to risking breaking the cast. You may need a bolt or two when it arrives to your shop.
