Up for bids at auction: Up for bids is this lot of 6 antique Blacksmith’s Tongs. These tongs are all in good, usable condition, open and close easily and would make a great addition to any old tool collection or blacksmith’s workshop. They were a barn find from an old farm estate in Northern Missouri and have been cleaned and rubbed with an all-natural beeswax to protect their great looking old iron patinas and are ready for display anywhere. They range in length from 12 to 20 inches long and are assorted styles. A few are stamped with old names and the rest are either unmarked or the lettering is too faint to read. As always, there’s no reserve and the winning bidder gets the lot. Please refer to the pictures and feel free to email with any questions. The items I sell are Barn and Farmhouse finds from old farm estates throughout Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. Many of them have been cleaned to preserve their original old patinas and are ready for display. Every step is taken to protect the evidence of years of use and aging. Some items we leave in as-found, rustic condition with rust, dust and dirt to be restored to your liking. Selling without reserve to the highest bidder.
