this item is in great shape and I see no nicks chips or other flaws - I have seen these listed in the 1997 kovels for up to 45$ - the seam does not go to the top - a very big blob at a reasonable price - a hard to find Philadelphia antique - my guess is 1870-1880 era - I found this bottle when I was a teenager in the 80's and it was one of my better finds
