Lovely Antique Pieced Quilt from an estate in Ohio's Amish Country. Early 1900's - circa 1920's or 30's. The colors are white and deep indigo blue (photos appear darker). Covered with extravagant quilting designs - feather, diamond grid, and serpentine feather quilting throughout. Made by an expert seamstress - wonderful handstitching of 10-12 tiny stitches per inch; evenly spaced (I pictured close-ups so you can see the detailed workmanship). An old Amish pattern called "Bear Paw"; it measures 75 1/2" x 78". Looks great; I didn't find any damage, stains, or odors. Smells and looks fine, but has been packed away, may need a gentle soak. I'm not an expert on the care of early textiles, so will leave that up to you. You're sure to treasure this beautiful, early handmade quilt!
