I don't see these very often. T are six (6) bone handled knives with two (2) matching 3-tine forks. The knives are stamped on the blade Meriden Cutlery Company. One of the knives has a taped handle - and it's been taped for a while! Two of the other knives have a crack at the rivet - one at the center rivet and one at the top rivet. The forks don't have any markings and one shows hairline crack at the center rivet. An amazing set of flatware dating from the Civil War. The knives are approx. 9 1/4" long, the forks are approx. 7 1/2" long. Authentic for those of you who enjoy re-enactments!
