Vintage Lace Ribbon

On Sunday night our auction for this absolutely stunning, delicate Edwardian silk and lace boudoir cap will end. The hat is made of two types of lace with pink rosettes and pink and green ribbon. A clover lace was used for the body of the bonnet; the edging lace which is about 2" wide is a beautiful floral and scroll pattern. All of the lace is in excellent vintage condition. The cap is lined with what I believe is silk, and it is also in wonderful condition. I do not see any rips, tears, or holes, and the cap is free of stains.

This bonnet has been carefully stored for many, many decades in a cedar chest.

I am not an expert on vintage clothing, and I have described this absolutely lovely cap as accurately as I can. If you would like further pictures, or if you have questions, we will promptly respond.
