1907 Boye Co. Sewing Machine Needles and Tin Case. This is an antique tin rotary dispenser distributed by the Boye Needle Co. to general stores. It contains 56 wooden tube containers holding 124 Boye needles, 38 bobbins, and 12 shuttles. The tin is approx. 3 ¼ inches tall and 16 inches in diameter. It is in good, working order. The face is in good condition for its age. T is a small rust ring and some wax pencil markings that I believe are removable. The wood tubes are in very good condition, most all writing is clearly visible. The tin came from the Watson and Alfred General Hardware store in Kenly, NC. The tin shows a last patent date of July 9, 1907 . Most, if not all, of the wooden needle cases are marked as 1910. I'll be glad to try to answer any questions. Happy Bidding!
