Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing Co. was a premier manufacturer of metal accessories from about 1852-1940's. This wall letter/paper holder is probably from the late 1800's. These metal accessories, both for the home and business, included such items as clocks, lights, door stops, bookends/consoles and statutes to name only a very few. These B&H items on the market today are highly collectible and are generally good investments. This wall letter/paper holder is indicative of high quality and workmanship. It is clearly marked on the backside in raised letters and numbers as seen in picture 6. This Bradley and Hubbard item is in great found original condition.... with one small break that has been very professionally repaired ( see picture 4). This repair in no way compromises the integrity of the piece. The piece has the original gold gilt paint which is in very good condition. The hinges are in very good working order. The original hook for hanging is present on the back side. The Victorian detail in this piece is ornate as can be seen with the medallion in the center (see picture 2).
