There is no reserve on this wonderful late 18 th c. strainer/ladle. We are featuring this large and beautiful early kitchen hearth strainer/ladle. This is from a recent collector’s estate sale and is one of the finest we have seen. The handle is wrought iron with copper rivets attaching the duck’s bill shaped iron to the handsome thinwall brass strainer. The handle is exceptional as it widens at the end and forms a lollipop hanger. The brass has a beautiful patina. All in all, this is a piece anyone would be proud to own. This is a large piece measuring: 24 ½” long and the strainer is about 7 ¼” in diameter. We only accept PayPal as payment. We will chip according to the shipping calculator. Thank you for your interest.
