Two Light Antique Brass Wall SconceWith Matching Shades (1) This auction is for 1 of 2 matching wall sconces that I have available. Please view my other listings if you are interested in both fixtures. Up for your consideration is this very heavy solid cast brass2- light wall sconce with matching shades. This lovely fixture is in excellent condition and has a wonderful patina. Mounting plate has a great "egg & dart" design complimentedby a beaded pattern around the perimeter. Plate measures 7-1/4" high x 5-1/4" wide. Fixture with shades installed projects 6-1/4" from the wall. The overall width of the fixture with shades installed is approximately 12". Both matching shades are old and in excellent condition. The design is comprised of a pebbled background with starbursts and abeaded pattern running through and along the flared edges of the shades. There are a couple of tiny chips on the fitter end that are hidden when installed. Shades are 4-1/4" high, have a 4-7/8" diameter at the flared opening and are 2-1/4" at the fitter. Both "fat boy" keyed sockets are in very good condition and are marked "Edison Patents, 250V. 50" C.P. The internal socket bases have the mica centers. Bakelite paddle switch keys are marked GE Co. One of the shade holders is marked with the patent date: SEPT. 29, 1896. I completely re-wired this fixture a read more
