Greetings! In the next few weeks I'll be listing more great items from a couple of private clients who collected diverse and quality items. Remember, when you invest in a good piece -- another one (or thirty) will not pop up immediately -- or be replaced on the shop shelf within minutes. PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH MY 'AUCTION CONDITIONS' BELOW BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN MY AUCTIONS. I've tried to avoid the listing 'diatribes', but for fair trade for all -- I do need to lay out the way I do business ahead of time. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT I NOW RUN 5 DAY AUCTIONS ONLY. This auction is for a great antique balance scale -- nice proportions, and LARGE -- 30" high, 27" wide, the receptacles are 10" in diameter, and the marble base is 8" square. The photos don't do justice to all the solid brass components -- all original to the piece. The black marble base is tiered. T is some patination on the brass base, and I have not tried to remove it as I don't want to disturb the great patina of the brass. A great piece for your home or business. Imagine the 2 receptacles filled with seashells, fruit/vegetables, plants (potted plants in each bowl would look great) -- use your imagination! I've found that folks will usually pay a fair price for quality and unusual items -- so you may want to grab it while you can! Thanks for looking, have a great week . AUCTION CONDITIONS: PLEASE READ and make sure you're OK with them. Thanks. SHIPPING: I will ship within 5-7 business days -- I have other obligations, and feel that's the best I can honestly promise. All my packing materials are recycled from local businesses -- please recycle when you receive them. POSTAGE: I state almost all my postage costs ahead of time. I do not charge shipping/handling fees, and try to keep shipping as low as possible. I can do nothing about increasing shipping/fuel prices. INSURANCE: Is required on all delicate items, and with it you also get a tracking number in case anything happens in shipment. If you prepay without insurance, I can't be responsible if the item is broken or lost. For insurance with USPS you may add $1.50/$100 of value. For DHL Delivery you add $1.00/$100 of value. COMMUNICATION: A big concern for me, reasonable communication can solve almost any issue. I do not have a computer at home (by choice), so email me with questions early, and it make take me a day or two to respond. FEEDBACK: I always leave it, but do it every 2 weeks or so when I catch up with my ebay 'paperwork'. I SELL ON EBAY BECAUSE I ENJOY FINDING AND PROVIDING INTERESTING ITEMS FOR FOLKS. IT'S MY LIVING FOR THE MOST PART -- BUT T'S LITTLE PASSION FOR IT IF I DON'T FEEL LIKE I'M PROVIDING GOOD SERVICE AND UNIQUE MERCHANDISE. LET'S ENJOY THIS SHARED TRANSACTION!
