ANTIQUE BRASS RUSSIAN SAMOVAR DATED 1896 SOLID BRASS VERY OLD RUSSIAN SAMOVAR. I have had this stored away for some time, but while displayed I sat the brass teapot atop with a collector pot under spout. Looked great as depicted in next to last photo. If you are interested I will include these items with the samovar. SAMOVAR is in great condition, solid brass and marked on front bottom plate in RUSSIAN, (my machine does not carry these letters.) Plate has the stamped double eagles with date; 1882, second dated; 1896.Russian names above each eagle. SAMOVAR measures, (without) added teapot; 17 1/2" tall x app. 14" wide across handles. Samovar is in great condition, no dings on brass of Samovar, bottom tray has indentations were feet of Samovar has sat for so very long. Wooden handles are all present and in great condition, one small round knob on top has ruffage on one edges, but does not take away from piece at all. Bottom door is intact with the hinge. Interior is in fine condition as depicted in photos. BID WITH CONFIDENCE. Please email before bidding with any questions by doing this all doubts are answered and we both will have a HAPPY TRANSACTION. Necessary notice; US CUSTOMERS--PAYPAL OR POSTAL MONEY ORDERS. NO PERSONAL CHECKS. checks will be returned, sorry. A few customers make it bad for all. INTERNATION BUYERS--PAYPAL ONLY, no exceptions. THANKS and HAPPY SHOPPING NOTE; The Double Headed Eagle with Center Chest Crest was the ROMANOV FAMILY CREST. This Samovar is marked with this Crest. Samovar weighs app. 20 lbs.- add about 5 lbs. for box and packing weight. Choose your method of prefered shipment, take my zip code, 63648, and you can figure shipping cost with the postal calculator link on ebay. Thanks No damage to Samovar w spout of handles connect to body. Brass is a Bright Yellow Color, not pinkish. The pinkish cast on brass is the reflection of the Ruby Red Chair it is setting on. Plus the Samovar is dusty I have not tried to polish or as you see I did not dust off. The flash of the camera showed up my poor housekeeping. As I mentioned before, Samovar has been stored away for a long time.
