Nice vintage, brass wire boy key. Unusual design, great for collectors as wire bow brass keys are quite uncommon.

As always, antique keys have varying degrees of aging, sometimes including bends, tarnish, pitting, small cracks, etc. Please study large picture(s) to determine required condition before bidding and do not bid if the keys do not meet your expectations. Thank you.

About this unique collection or key(s):
Our beautiful keys are hand-picked from a private collection. Keys may have been used for churches, castles, gates, furniture, cabinets, dungeons, clocks, pad locks, safes and old dwellings. Set collections may include antique, modern, brass, steel, Georgian, Victorian, modern, reproductions and rare selections.

Key Condition (Read before bidding):
Although we carefully hand pick our selections, our antique keys (and almost every authentic vintage key), has some type of minor defect or wear. This is what gives an antique key character. Therefore, keys may have defects such as rust, dings, pitting, slight bends, etc. Please examine the large pictures before bidding. Many of our keys have wonderful patinas of gold, red, brown and copper. This took many years (sometimes over 200) to develop. Keys could be cleaned down to the metal and appear almost new, but why would you want to damage antique? Key length sizes are sometimes rounded off to the nearest 1/16 to 1/8 inches. All keys from a smoke free environment. Only key(s) shown in auction are included.

Historical Data:
Very few keys from the pre-19th Century period have makers marks to accurately date or place a specific key. In some circumstances, a key can be dated by very unique designs or cuts. As always, copies (reproductions or duplicates) of keys were often made many years after the original, only complicating accurate dating, authenticity and appraisals. We do not maintain historical data concerning specific keys unless otherwise noted here.

$4.99 Priority US Mail. Includes free delivery confirmation and loss protection via PayPal. Please allow 3-4 days handing and 2-4 days for delivery, excluding holidays and weekends. Because of my work, I am sometimes required to be away for about week. Please contact me in advance of bidding if a time delay is an issue. For additional information about postal charges, see notes below.

For security, tracking and loss coverage we can ONLY ship to the address on your PayPal account.

Canada and International Shipping: Postage is calculated by the USPS. We can ONLY ship outside the US via USPS Flat Rate with tracking. Please allow extra time (sometimes weeks on rare occasions), for customs to clear shipments. Please contact us to open up closed location item(s).

Multiple item shipping discounts: We will be happy to combine postage on items ordered at the same time. (Within 1 hour). We will send a single invoice or refund extra postage for multiple items, including those with "Buy it Now." We cannot hold items for other bidding.

Refunds:
We will gladly refund any purchase if you are not 100% happy. Please note that all returns must be postmarked within 7 days, include all items, be packed in equal protection as received and be tracked/insured (to prevent loss). Refund will be issued upon safe return of item(s) to seller. Buyer is responsible for return postage costs. Items purchased for the sole purpose of display, photography or any temporary use, with the intention of returning after use, WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
